The Cuddler is made from our innovative GOLS-certified Melofoam™, which is a satisfyingly squashy, all natural latex foam. It’s made by tapping sap directly from organic hevea trees in Sri Lanka, which is collected in coconuts and gently steamed to produce a spongey, airy foam. The entire process is completely natural and the rubber trees live for decades. Any waste (like water and the coconut husks used to collect the sap) is reused in the farming process to help new trees to grow.

The responsive Melofoam™ Cuddler body pillow is encased in a removable, washable, GOTS-certified 100% organic cotton cover in a fresh white hue. Our Cuddler Covers are also OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, ensuring that they are safe for your family, the people who manufacture them, and the environment. You can pick up additional Cuddler Covers in 100% organic cotton and Belgian flax linen styles to help you rest in soothing, coordinated comfort. Our Melofoam™ is made with ≥95% Certified Organic, CU 886652.

We never use any harmful chemicals or pesticides when growing materials or making our products, so you can rest easy knowing that you’re cuddling up with the next best thing to nature.

I love that it doesn't take up a ton of space and is flexible, so you can really position it however/wherever you need the most support. I literally snuggle with it and it's improved my sleep so much. I think I'll even continue using it postpartum. Highly recommend!

I honestly didn't want to love the Cuddler, but I do. It's so versatile! I use it to prop up my head when I am reading in bed & to support my knees and hips when I am sleeping on my side. I suspect when it gets colder, I will be using it to create a cozy cocoon, too. It's perfectly named, too - it really is cuddly! I have been using this pillow for several weeks now, and it's made a huge difference in the quality of my sleep.

I'm a stomach sleeper that is trying to transition to side sleeping to alleviate back pain, and the Cuddler makes sleeping on my side so comfy! I fall asleep so fast and wake up with no back pain. I didn't expect how it would also meet so many sensory needs I didn't know I had. Lying curled up with the Cuddler around me is the perfect amount of pressure to feel safe, secure, and like I'm in the middle of a hug. Combined with my weighted Napper it makes the perfect nest for reading and sleeping.

It was a bit of a learning curve turning from side to side in bed, especially with the wonderful Tree Napper blanket on me, but I think I've got it figured out now. I've tried body-pillows, so many times. And they've failed me, every time, until the Cuddler. For the last year, I've been having trouble sleeping, and the only thing that worked was a complicated system of pillows: One behind me, one (memory foam) between my knees to keep my hips from complaining, another clutched to my chest. (Yeah, I'm a high-maintenance sleeper. Busted. Plus I'm nearly 60.) I'm going to suggest there's another Cuddler position: The "Inverted Half Spoon." Held in front, down through the knees, and up behind the back. (Some of the body-pillow sites describe this as the 'saddle' mode, but that's not quite right. Anyway, the success of this is that I have, for the first time in more months than I can recount, actually slept late. Several times in the last week, I woke up before I meant to, just adjusted my position a little, maybe pulled my Tree Napper a little higherâ€”and drifted off again. That hadn't been happening before, when gradual discomforts would just drive me from my bed. What's more, when I finally woke up with the Cuddler, I actually felt well-rested. Time will tell whether the Cuddler's foam core holds up, and I did want to wait a full week before writing a review, but I have to say I'm very happy with it right now. (Also, it's a very nice back-cushion for my recliner, snaked twice behind me, with one end to a side so I can lean on it.) I'd have to say the nicest thing about the "melofoam" is that is seems to hit that sweet spot between squishiness and firmness. Hope it lasts.

I am a side sleeper and was having trouble with my shoulders and back. My massage therapist recommended a body pillow. I had tried the basic ones from the discount stores and they just were lacking. The cuddler is amazing!!! Nice and long to actually support my whole body and super soft and the shape is superior to others. I am sleeping better and my body is less achy when I wake up.

So great and cuddly
Perfect body pillow. The latex material is firm but still has the right amount of give. I would recommend getting a cover for it though. It seems weird without one.

Best post-op pillow
I got this pillow because I saw many women who had a laparoscopy for endometriosis say it helped them sleep better during recovery from surgery. And, I am so happy to report, they were so right! Totally worth it. So glad it came with a cover too so I can wash it and use it after my recovery too :)

This is a great pillow!! Eco-friendly, springy, versatile for different positions/discomforts and the cover is lovely too. The cover came with a very minor hole in the stitching and I was provided with a partial refund. Very happy :)

What is the purpose of body pillows? How do you use them?

A body pillow helps to alleviate pressure and tension throughout your body by supporting you all over. It holds the weight of your limbs, head, or body as you rest on it, which takes the stress off your joints and helps to reduce back, neck, and joint pain.

Body pillows can provide a lot of comfort to pregnant people, helping them to get comfortable at night, and they’re also great for keeping you still, so they’re a good option for restless sleepers, too.

You can use the Bearaby Cuddler at night or during the day, and experiment with different ways of cuddling up to see what feels the most comfy! You can wrap our long body pillow around you and use it to prop you up while you’re sitting, hug it close to your body, put it under your knees, or gently rest your head and top arm and leg on it while you sleep. It’s a great body pillow for side sleepers and works brilliantly as a pregnancy pillow. It also gives excellent full-body hugs on demand!

What is the Bearaby Cuddler body pillow made of?

Our Cuddler is about as natural as it gets. It’s filled with satisfyingly squashy Melofoam™, which is a responsive foam made from sap tapped directly from rubber trees in Sri Lanka. The sap is collected in coconuts and gently steamed to form a bouncy, breathable foam. It’s a completely zero-waste process, and our Cuddler is fully biodegradable and compostable. Melofoam™ is GOLS-certified, which means it’s completely organic, socially responsible, and traceable through every step of the supply chain.

The outer shell of our Cuddler is made from our supersoft GOTS-certified organic cotton. We are committed to using only 100% organic cotton from India as it makes a better life for the people who grow it, and a better product for the people who use it. Organic cotton also uses 90% less water than conventional farming methods, so it’s kinder to the planet, too.
