I bought the king size for my bed. I was a little worried. Didn't know if it would be to warm or to cold. The truth is it's amazing. In the summer it's nice because it hugs you but is nice and vented. When is cold you can through a very thin blanket on top and your good for cold. I can't tell you how much my wife and I love this blanket. I've used a lot of weighted blankets. They are my favorite out in the woods in early winter. This is the perfect weighted blanket. I want to get the smaller one.

My husband and I bought the moonstone grey king size weighted blanket a month ago, and we love it! I track my sleep on my AppleWatch and my sleep scores have shot up since we started using it. The braided nature of the fabric makes it super breathable, so it doesn't feel hot on top of our comforter. I haven't tried any other weighted blankets before, so I don't know how it compares to others, but I highly recommend it if it's in your price range.

I was looking for something that didn't trap a ton of heat, but also was on the heavy side. I tried the Luxome cool weighted blanket but found it to be pretty warm personally. Because of the weave on this one, (huge gaps) even the polyester one doesn't trap much heat, (so take note if you are avoiding polyester for heat trapping reasons) but still delivers on weight. So you can use other layers as needed to heat or cool and let the weighted mostly just be a weight factor rather than much of a heat factor, if that makes sense. I use it over a light cotton layer, and under a more insulating layer, so if I get hot, I can strip the top layer and cool off really well while still being nice and smothered! Genius!

Our king size weighted blanket measures 76” x 80” and is designed to fit just right on king beds! You can take a look at our weight/size guide to see how it looks on different mattresses.
What weight should a weighted blanket be for a couple?
Our king size Hugger is designed to deliver just the right level of Deep Touch Pressure (DTP) for two people, and it could also be a good choice if you’re looking for a heavier option just for you!
We generally recommend choosing a weighted blanket that’s around 10% of your individual body weight, but when sharing a weighted blanket as a couple, the weight should distribute proportionally based on the amount of the blanket each person is resting beneath.
What materials are used in weighted blankets?
Our weighted king size blankets get their weight only from layers of soft, sustainable fibers.

Can you wash a king sized weighted blanket?
To keep your king size weighted blanket in snuggly shape for many naps to come, it’s important to follow the correct care instructions for the style of blanket that you have.
We don’t recommend washing your king size weighted blanket at home. Our Ocean Hugger can be washed in a commercial size washer and dryer. Use cold water on a delicate cycle and tumble dry low. Do not bleach.
Can you use a weighted blanket on a king size bed?
Yes! Our standard Nappers are sized for individual use and can be used on any bed (or couch!), but our king size Hugger is specifically designed for anyone who’s looking for a weighted blanket to cover their entire king size bed.
